The development of autonomous solutions does not represent a break with existing practices, but rather a controlled extension of established capabilities.

TLT Marine & Services relies on the achievements, operational experience and skills of the UFAST naval shipyard, now integrated within the group, to design platforms capable of evolving towards increasing levels of automation and remote operation.

Automation and remote operation of naval platforms

Current work conducted by TLT Marine & Services focuses on the progressive integration of advanced functions such as:

  • supervision of unmanned or reduced-crew missions
  • secure remote operation from shore-based control centres
  • coordination between manned and unmanned vessels
These capabilities aim to extend mission endurance, reduce human exposure in high-risk environments, and reinforce the permanence of State action at sea, particularly in the fields of surveillance, protection of sensitive areas and maritime safety.

Development of unmanned surface vehicles ( USVs) for government missions

As a natural extension of its naval platforms, TLT Marine & Services is studying and developing surface drones tailored to the specific needs of State action at sea.

These autonomous or remotely operated assets are designed as:

  • complements to existing means
  • tools for persistent surveillance
  • platforms for detection, observation or remote intervention
  • assets capable of integration into multi-vector operational systems

Their design prioritises ease of deployment, robustness and seamless integration into existing command and control architectures.
