TLT Marine & Services is engaged in a continuous effort to integrate environmental considerations into professional shipbuilding.
The shipyard is currently working in close cooperation with suppliers of resins and technical fabrics to assess the use of composite materials derived from recycling processes, as well as solutions designed to facilitate end-of-life recycling of vessels.
These exploratory initiatives aim to reconcile operational performance, structural durability and reduced environmental footprint, while remaining fully compatible with the technical and regulatory requirements applicable to government and professional vessels.
This approach forms part of a long-term reflection led by TLT Marine & Services, building on the industrial expertise of the UFAST shipyard, to support the responsible evolution of practices within the naval industry.
